Everyone one would prefer not to deal with hair growth. It often makes you feel like you have to constantly do battle just to keep it in check.. The feeling of freedom from the razor or harsh chemicals people experience when they cease having to deal with constantly recurring hair growth is very freeing. People who have received treatment also often tell me that they end up saving a lot of money that they would have spent on razors and skin care supplies. When I’m asked however by people interested in treatment “how much does it cost?” and often they view it as prohibitive expensive. Many people are left thinking “is it worth it and maybe I should just keep shaving…”
Typically, laser hair removal treatments can cost between $100-$3000 for a course of treatment in a clinic, but the final cost can depend on a lot of factors. The first big thing to consider is what area of the body you want to have treated. The upper lip can cost as little as $100, but applying the same treatment to larger areas like your legs can cost up to $1600. After that, you have to consider your skin and hair combination. People with very pale skin and very dark hair are the easiest to treat with lasers, and so they don’t usually require as many treatments to get the same effect, while people with pale skin and light blonde hair, or dark skin and dark hair can take many more treatments to get the effect they want. More treatments make everything more expensive and often multiple series of treatments are required to achieve the results you want.
